Hello there! I’m Winter, a sweet and gentle soul who’s a little over 1 year old. I weigh about 50 pounds, and I’m a black-and-white beauty, if I do say so myself. My journey began in Texas, where I was just a tiny puppy, abandoned in a box by the roadside. I was so scared and alone, but thankfully, I was rescued and brought to New Jersey.

I was adopted into a home, but it didn’t quite work out. My family realized that the hustle and bustle of a noisy environment with young kids was a bit too overwhelming for me. I’m a timid girl, and I really thrive in a quieter, calmer place where I can feel safe and truly shine.

I’m house-trained, obedient, and eager to please. I’ve got some basic training already, and with my smarts, I could learn even more tricks and commands with a little time and patience. I absolutely adore other dogs—I’ve been used as a dog tester because I get along so well with my furry friends. I even have some pictures and a video on my 11th Hour profile that show just how much I enjoy their company! However, I’m not too fond of cats; I think they’re a bit too much of a temptation to chase.

I love playing with toys, fetching, and splashing around in the splashpad on hot days. I’m very perceptive and can sense the energy around me. I have a kind heart and a gentle spirit, and I long to be understood and loved for who I am.

I’m hoping to find a dedicated family who can help me see that the world isn’t so frightening after all. In return, I promise to be your most loyal and loving companion.
